True Self Wealth
I’m a financial adviser with over 13 years of experience working in financial services.
Divorce, separation and dissolution can be overwhelming. My job is to help you understand what you’ve got and make the best decisions for your financial future.
It’s best to start working together as soon as possible, so I can hold your hand through every step of the process.
Settlements
I use financial reporting to explore potential settlements and how they might affect your future income. This way, you will understand the consequences of a settlement before you accept it.
Pensions
Only 20% of divorcing couples discussed their pension (Legal and General and Optimum Research, November 2023, 2750 people surveyed).
A significant number of people waive their rights to a partner’s pension as part of the divorce. It’s important to recognise the impact of this because waiving these rights could affect your financial situation for years to come.
Pensions can take ages to find, and in some cases, actuaries will need to value them— another reason to start the process early.
Protection Insurance
Protection insurance is fundamental for your peace of mind during divorce and separation, because your liabilities and circumstances are changing.
It might not be your first thought, but the financial independence that comes with arranging the relevant insurance is a crucial step toward securing your future.
You don’t need to have prior knowledge of financial matters to work with me.

The value of a pension will be directly linked to the performance of the funds you select and the value can therefore go down as well as up. You may get back less than you invested.
